Diamond Island Resort’s Restaurant and Bar is located in the original homestead on the property, which dates back to 1856. Built in the year Tasmania first stood alone as a State, you can feel the history from the time you walk through the door.

The walls are adorned with many original artworks, along with books that you can relax by the fire and read with a drink from our extensive beer, wine and spirits list, including many Award Winning Tasmanian favourites.
We offer a fusion of traditional Australian fare, Asian and European cuisine. Our restaurant is family friendly, affordable and we’re sure there’s something for everyone.
Our restaurant is dine-in or take-away. Open to both guests and the public. However, it is seasonal and days and hours of operation vary, particularly in the offseason. Please call 03 6375 1610 to confirm opening times or make a reservation, or else visit reception.
If you’ve been on a wine tour throughout the Freycinet region or Coles Bay, you are welcome to bring your discoveries to enjoy with your meal (corkage applicable)
